Wild Deodorant is a natural and eco-friendly deodorant that has been gaining popularity in recent years. Made with all-natural ingredients, it is free from harsh chemicals and toxins commonly found in traditional deodorants.
But does it really work? In this blog piece, I will share with you my personal review of Wild Deodorant and provide you with an honest assessment of its effectiveness.
What is Wild Deodorant?
Firstly, it is important to note that Wild Deodorant is not an antiperspirant, meaning it will not stop you from sweating, however, it does contain ingredients such as arrowroot powder and kaolin clay, which help to absorb moisture and keep you feeling dry.
The deodorant is made from all-natural ingredients such as cocoa seed butter and shea butter and contains zero parabens, aluminium, or sulfates.
What I love about this product is it comes in a range of scents, including my favourites, Ocean Mist and Jasmine and Mandarin Blossom. The scents are pleasant and not too overpowering, as I go about my day I often get a nice whiff of freshness so it certainly lasts.
Wild Deodorant comes in a stick form, which makes it easy to apply, I would best describe its texture as that of a lip balm. It glides on the skin with a moisturising effect and once applied, it feels light and airy on the skin, without any sticky or heavy residue. It dries nice and quickly and doesn’t leave any crumbly white bits that you get with some aerosol antiperspirant.
It's Sustainable too!
While the effectiveness of deodorant is certainly the most important factor to consider, convenient and sustainable packaging can also make a big difference if, like me, you are here there, and everywhere and need a handy portable option.
The Wild Deodorant refill itself comes in a compostable paperboard tube, which is a great eco-friendly alternative to the plastic packaging that many traditional deodorants come in. Not only is paperboard biodegradable, but it also requires much less energy to produce than plastic, making it a more sustainable option.
To house your refillable deodorants, there are a variety of cases for you to choose from including their limited edition collaborations with other brands such as The Boob Case in collaboration with Coppafeel and Disney's The Little Mermaid.
Wild's reusable case is made from anodised aluminium and recycled plastic, this clever little device is perfect for popping in your gym bag or suitcase.
Simple, fuss-free subscription.
Wild Deodorant offers a subscription service that delivers refills directly to your door at a frequency that suits you. I got a starter pack for just £12 that came with the reusable case and a refill.
After one month, a pack of three refills are sent out for just £15. Let me tell you these deodorant sticks last! I have found that each refill lasts around 4-6 weeks. Following the first delivery, you can then choose how often you would like a refill sent out.
Now, onto the most important question: does Wild Deodorant work?
In short, absolutely yes!
I am really impressed with its ability to keep me feeling fresh and odor-free throughout the day. As someone who exercises regularly and is always on the go, I was surprised by how well it holds up. I experience zero irritation or discomfort when using it too.
I love the choice of cassettes and packaging and how I am doing my bit for the environment with compostable and sustainable materials.
Summary
I highly recommend Wild Deodorant to anyone looking for a natural and effective deodorant. Its all-natural ingredients, pleasant scents, and effective odor-fighting abilities make it a great choice for those who want to prioritize their health and the environment.
