Background: Debbie, 59, was struggling with menopause symptoms and hadn't exercised in a long time. She found me on Instagram and was drawn to my approach toward health and fitness.

Challenges: When Debbie first connected with me, she was feeling unfit and overwhelmed by the symptoms of menopause. She hadn't taken steps to address her health before finding The Wellness Mentor due to crippling anxiety and low self esteem, but knew she needed to take control. Like many women in their 50s, Debbie was hesitant about reintroducing exercise into her life, unsure of where to begin or how to manage the process alongside her menopause journey.

The Service Debbie Opted For: In our initial consultation Debbie and I spoke about the challenges she was facing and the level of support she felt she needed. We set up some monthly coaching calls to address Debbie's feelings and worries about exercise and lack of self-confidence, together we challenged her thoughts to establish a healthier relationship with herself. Aside from these calls, Debbie continued to attend our weekly Resistance Band Class held at Altofts Methodist Church.
