Are you someone who never has time to eat breakfast? Maybe you just can’t face eating in a morning or just don’t feel hungry?
Then by 10am the hunger pangs are fast approaching and its a mad rush to see what convenient snacks you can grab to curb your hunger until lunchtime, that’s if you even have chance to grab lunch.
Maybe you reach for a couple of pieces of fruit, for others it might be a packet of crisps or a pastie, and others, well maybe nothing at all if you’re on with a hundred and one daily tasks.
You will probably have heard may people say “breakfast is the most important meal of the day” and there is a lot of truth in this statement! However, if you are someone that just cannot find the time or really cannot face eating breakfast then you may need an alternative solution to support your health and fitness goals.
The key factor to consider is, it is important for your health, to feed your body with the right amount of nutrition and hydration throughout the whole day. By maintaining fullness and managing spikes in blood sugar from the moment you wake, you will be able to maintain satiety and energy levels.
In summary, if you can find a way to consume a protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats at each meal of the day, including breakfast, it is much more likely that you will feel fuller longer and less likely that you will crave convenient snacks.
How can you achieve this?…. HOMEMADE SMOOTHIES!
